Edge’s new staff members, new roles and departures

In the past three years Edge’s business and staff numbers have tripled, demand for service offerings has grown rapidly and our work has expanded to cover an increasing number of sectors, such as telecommunication and bioenergy. In line with these broader changes to our business, in the last month we have seen some changes within our team.

Danielle Mulder will change her role to be an Associate with Edge, supporting us on key accounts and clients, as she leaves the team to relocate with her family to the UK. Danielle joined Edge in 2012 and took up a Director position in 2013 working primarily across the infrastructure, major events and property sectors. We look forward to collaborating with Danielle as she opens the next exciting chapter of her impressive career.

Edge send our best wishes to Clint Craggs as he relocates to Shanghai, taking up a role as co-manager of Cundall’s Shanghai ESD and Engineering Services team. Clint joined Edge Environment in 2014. During his time at Edge, Clint worked on many of the major infrastructure projects underway in Sydney including the CBD and South East Light Rail, Sydney Metro Northwest, NorthConnex and WestConnex.

We are excited to welcome our newest members to the team:

  • James Thomas, who will be focused on resource recovery, recycling, and waste management. James will interact directly with business operators and owners, evaluating business waste practices and creating detailed action plans outlining the steps necessary to divert waste from landfill and decrease associated costs. James has a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance from the University of San Diego in California, and a recently completed Master’s Degree in Environmental Science from the University of Sydney.
  • Alarna Haigh, who is our new office manager. Coming from a publishing and content marketing background, Alarna holds a Bachelor of International Communications. Besides keeping the office environment running smoothly, she also contributes to Edge’s blog and website.
  • Dr Henrique Togashi, who has a PhD in Biological Sciences from Macquarie University and specialises in Big Data Analysis, Geographic Information Systems and climate modelling. Henrique will be working across Edge’s existing services as well as exploring opportunities to add value to clients through customised data analysis tools and GIS.
