Edge Environment will be sending its first mother-to-be on Maternity Leave in a few days. In recognition of this important phase in life, Edge has developed a revised best practice Edge Environment Paid Parental Leave Policy.
Edge Environment fosters a culture of work place diversity, flexibility and personal development; and the newly implemented parental leave policy supports these values. The Edge Environment Parental Leave Policy is designed to support new parents when they most need it. The Policy offers 15 weeks paid leave for mothers and 2 weeks paid leave for fathers. In addition, the New Parent Support Package provides new parents with either:
- A reusable nappy service for six weeks.
- A domestic cleaning service for six weeks.
- A meal home delivery service.
The package aims to provide Edge Environment employees with some additional support and relief during the exciting but often challenging first months after the birth.
