As a recipient of a NSW Environment Protection Authority BinTrim Business grant, Edge Environment has launched the ‘200 Stories’ project. 200 Stories will document the individual stories of 200 businesses across the Northern Beaches as they take positive action to reduce their environmental impact and take responsibility for the waste they produce.
With the assistance of the Manly Chamber of Commerce Edge Environment has been able to reach a range of local businesses and get the project off to a great start. Waste reduction implementation plans have already been delivered to a number of businesses including the 4 Pines Brewery, Hotel Steyne, Manly Wharf Hotel, Harbord Growers Market and the International College of Management (ICMS).
See 200 Stories in the Manly Daily here – look out for continuing promotion of the project and the companies involved in it!
Sydney faces a very pressing scarcity of landfilling sites and Edge Environment is proud to be proactively helping local business make a real difference in the community.
