Following a week of sensational press articles in the Newcastle area, interest was spiked in the topic of “floating homes” – or more broadly – Flood Resilient Homes. Edge Environment developed the flood resilient housing guidelines for Lake Macquarie Council and were called by ABC Radio National to contribute to a discussion. It is exciting to be part of this discussion and contribute to adaptation of our settlements to the potential risks presented by climate change.
