Premier World Resources Forum Asia Pacific

Over the 1-3rd June, the Edge team took part in the World Resources Forum Asia Pacific, the first to be held for the Asia Pacific hosted by the Institute of Sustainable Futures (UTS) and SMaRT@UNSW.

The Forum provided an outlet and meeting place for academics, government, and industry covering new ground in economic structuring, materials innovation and reprocessing capacity. With strong representation from academics, industry and government, conversation focused on the multidisciplinary aspects of promoting and embedding change in the economy.

Associate Director, Gary Forster, spoke in a panel discussion on the Case for Materials Efficiency in partnership with Sustainability Victoria , sharing his international perspectives from the NISP program in the UK.

The event was an excellent opportunity for networking and understanding the next phases in the progression toward a circular economy, it’s exciting to look forward at the changes to come!
