As roads occupy 10-15% of the land surface area in most cities, they are becoming an increased area of focus for cooling activities. This includes cooling through the use of cool road sealants. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This project conducted the most comprehensive review of cool road technologies ever undertaken in Australia. The report identified a range of technologies, with a focus on cool road sealants, and explored issues including impact on temperature, durability, business case and potential disadvantages.
