At Edge, I lead the Infrastructure and Property sector. As with lots of\u00a0small businesses, I wear many hats including project delivery, business development, people management and resourcing. It\u2019s what\u00a0I love about consulting in a small firm that puts clients first. It\u2019s been a challenging, yet fulfilling journey so far and I look forward to building this successful business further. I\u2019ve primarily worked in sustainability strategy, carbon and energy management, climate change risk assessment, due diligence and corporate risk.<\/p>

My favourite projects are those where I work in partnership with clients to facilitate continual improvement. Many of these projects are ongoing and last for many months \u2013 sometimes even many years. Some that come to mind are:<\/p>

DEXUS Due Diligence and Sustainability Services.<\/strong>\u00a0I\u2019ve been working with DEXUS for almost a decade. The work has involved everything from environmental risk auditing to sustainability reporting and climate change risk assessment. I feel as though I have been part of DEXUS\u2019s sustainability journey and have enjoyed my continuing relationship with them. This ongoing project is one of those great projects where we truly work in a trusted partnership with our client.<\/span><\/p>

Warringah Council Review of Greenhouse Gas Targets.<\/strong>\u00a0Being based in Manly and living in Warringah, it was only natural that a project to help my local council become more sustainable would be one of my favourites.<\/span><\/p>

North West Rail Link Sustainability Management.<\/strong>\u00a0This is one of the biggest infrastructure projects in Sydney. I was involved in the sustainability management from bid stage with the winning consortium, through to developing and implementing the sustainability strategy in the first six\u00a0months of the project. The work was extremely interesting, incorporating many disciplines and interaction with experts across many fields. I made great friends within a great team and I look forward to working with them again.<\/span><\/p>

I completed a BSc (hons) in marine biology and ecotoxicology at Simon Fraser University in Vancouver before finishing my Masters in Environmental Management at\u00a0UNSW in 2006.<\/p>

I work in sustainability because I grew up in Hong Kong, exposed to water and air pollution, which I wouldn\u2019t want any future generations to experience.<\/p>

In my spare time, I swim, cycle and run as much as I can in preparation for the next ridiculous event I get convinced to do. When not obsessing over these things, I get in as much surfing, sailing and cooking as I can.<\/p><\/div><\/div>
