Edge Environment’s board recently welcomed Mark Rogers as a non-executive director. Mark Rogers brings 20 years\u2019 experience in real asset sales, acquisitions, regulation, greenfields project development and finance; skills and experience that bring a new dimension to our company.\u00a0He has a strong understanding of, and passion for, the influence of sustainability outcomes on businesses and successful investments.<\/p>\n

As managing director of the Australia-New Zealand business New Forests<\/a>, Mark\u00a0oversees investments in the region’s forestry fund platform. This platform has more than $3.5 billion of assets under management and Mark’s team manages forestry operations, acquisitions and financial analytics.<\/p>\n

Mark’s board experience is extensive. He plays\u00a0a central role on the New Forests Executive Committee, assisting in the formulation of business strategy. He\u00a0also sits on a number of New Forests\u2019 investors’\u00a0committees and the operating companies’ boards.<\/p>\n

He has extensive experience as a non-executive director at\u00a0numerous other real asset companies (such as Anglian Water and Electricity North West)\u00a0and\u00a0previously\u00a0served as an independent director and chairman on the Board of the Infrastructure Sustainability Council of Australia.<\/p>\n

Mark holds\u00a0a Bachelor of Arts, a Bachelor of Economics and a Masters of Law from the Australian National University in Australia and is a graduate member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.<\/p>\n
