See our other vacancy <a href=\"http:\/\/edgeenvironment.com\/we-are-hiring\/\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job title: <\/strong>Sustainability Consultant<\/p>\n<p><strong>Status:<\/strong> Full time, permanent position (flexible options possible)<\/p>\n<p><strong>Start date: <\/strong>April 2017<\/p>\n<p>We are looking for someone who loves data, modelling and coding. You will enjoy bringing these technical skills to solutions in sustainability. The focus initially will be on evolving Edge\u2019s suite of tools for building resilience ratings, climate change, supply chain risk assessments and life cycle modelling tools. The role will work across many of our existing sectors including property, infrastructure, manufacturing, insurance, finance and food.<\/p>\n<p>In this role, you have the opportunity to help us shape new tools and offerings to clients while supported by a dynamic team of sustainability experts.<\/p>\n<p>You will have:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A higher-level university degree in computer science, sustainability or related discipline<\/li>\n<li>Experience in programming languages such as \u2018R\u2019<\/li>\n<li>Experience developing website specifications or web based tools<\/li>\n<li>Technical research and report writing skills<\/li>\n<li>Strong MS Excel skills including manipulation of large data sets<\/li>\n<li><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>They right candidate will enjoy:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Continual learning and development at the forefront of sustainability<\/li>\n<li>Working in small and agile teams with a high level of independence<\/li>\n<li>Working collaboratively within a team with a diverse set of skills and backgrounds<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>As part of our team you will benefit from:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ongoing investment in training and development<\/li>\n<li>A strong culture of work-life balance including established flexibility arrangements<\/li>\n<li>Working for a certified B Corp that lives our values<\/li>\n<li>Opportunities for career development and to influence the direction of the business<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Salary will be dependent on qualifications and experience.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Details<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Applications should be concise and relate directly to the skills\/experience outlined above.
