{"id":1813,"date":"2013-08-09T05:11:18","date_gmt":"2013-08-09T05:11:18","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/edgeenvironment.com\/?p=772"},"modified":"2019-09-27T13:58:55","modified_gmt":"2019-09-27T03:58:55","slug":"8th-alcas-conference-pathways-to-greening-global-markets","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/edgeenvironment.com\/us\/2013\/08\/09\/8th-alcas-conference-pathways-to-greening-global-markets\/","title":{"rendered":"8th ALCAS Conference \u201cPathways to Greening Global Markets\u201d"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The 8th ALCAS Conference was held from 16th-18th July 2013 in Manly and included over 80 presentations, including three international keynote speakers: Greg Thoma (The Sustainability Consortium &#8211; USA), Jodie Bricout (avniR LCA Platform \u2013 France) and Brian Lindsay (SAI Platform \u2013 UK).<\/p>\n<p>This year\u2019s conference, named \u201cPathways to Greening Global Markets\u201d, had a strong focus on industry and how LCA is being used to drive innovation and sustainability by providing valuable environmental information that manufacturers use to guide product development, process improvements and supply chain management.
