Exciting news! Today we can formally announce that we\u2019re merging with fellow BCorp<\/a>, and Adelaide sustainability stalwart Seed Consulting Services<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The combined company, which will operate under the Edge brand, will add further capacity and geographical reach to our already market-leading sustainability practice. Edge\u2019s expertise in sustainability strategy, life cycle assessment, climate risk, sustainable procurement and circular economy will be bolstered by Seed\u2019s long experience in sustainable food and agriculture, natural resource management, local government sustainability and climate adaptation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThe sustainability agenda has grown rapidly over the last 11 years, since Edge came into being. Over that time, we\u2019ve built a reputation for innovative and evidence-based sustainability strategies and solutions. But the last 12 months \u2013 with the emergence of things like the TCFD and increased public concern about issues such as climate change \u2013 has seen a step-change in the level of activity and ambition in the market\u201d<\/em>, says our CEO Jonas Bengtsson.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cBringing Seed into the Edge family ensures that we are even better placed to support our clients as they respond to these drivers and rapidly transition to more sustainable business models. That includes working in both traditionally strong markets such as property and infrastructure, as well as fast-developing areas within our business such as food and retail.\u201d <\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The addition of Seed will see our team grow to over 30 dedicated sustainability professionals, all with a strong commitment to the company\u2019s mission.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
