Best Practice Development Control Plans
Edge conducted a study to identify best-practice development controls for resilient building in areas prone to natural hazards, (inundation, bushfire, storm and cyclone), to support the ICA’s aim of creating a more resilient built environment.
The project has identified a best-practice benchmark and has now progressed to an investigation of how a beyond-compliance standard for resilient homes might be created in Australia.
