Keep your eye on ‘Stories in Action’ to see who is already involved and making a difference in the Northern Beaches!
Landfill scarcity in Sydney is a reality and Edge Environment is proud to be working with the local Northern Beaches community to tackle this important problem. Education, community and leadership are crucial to change perceptions and behaviours around waste and we hope that the companies involved in ‘200 Stories’ can demonstrate this across our local area.
The ‘200 Stories’ campaign will allow Edge Environment to share their expertise and resources in waste recovery with 200 small-medium businesses on the Northern Beaches in an effort to divert 1200 tonnes of waste from landfill. Edge Environment can offer a free waste assessment for businesses including assistance with:
- The implementation of a waste action plan
- Negotiation with waste service providers
- Applications for the NSW EPA small scale infrastructure
- A follow up audit to track progress and resolve the outcomes of the waste action plan implementation
