Raising a toast to our clients

2013 has been a witness of environmental excellence and change in the infrastructure, building and food sectors. 2013 was particularly a big year for infrastructure projects and we see this continuing into the future. This year we helped our clients position themselves to build some of Australia’s biggest infrastructure in a sustainable way. We provided sustainability advice for consortium bids for the F3-M2 link, the Sydney Light Rail and of course the North West Rail Link, which is considered to be Australia’s most important infrastructure project since the Harbour Bridge. We provided advice around material selection, sustainable design, carbon management and climate change. These are key components to achieving a leading rating under the ISCA Infrastructure Sustainability Tool. In partnership with our clients, we are confident that we will be implementing these sustainability initiatives during 2014 and beyond.

The Infrastructure Sustainability (IS) rating scheme is developed and administered by the Infrastructure Sustainability Council of Australia (ISCA). IS is Australia’s only comprehensive rating system for evaluating sustainability across design, construction and operation of infrastructure
