Food Waste E-learning Module

Edge collaborated with Better Sydney to develop two E-learning modules to designed complement the City of Sydney’s “Love Food Sydney” program. The were designed to upskill and support individual businesses in their efforts to tackle food waste avoidance and reduction, with a particular emphasis on the hospitality sector (via the City’s Sustainable Destination Partnership programme).

Topics covered in the modules included:
i) An introduction to food waste avoidance and reduction
ii) Avoiding food waste in daily operations
iii) How to conduct a waste review
iv) How to implement and monitor food waste initiatives.
