Building the Capacity of Australia’s Professionals to Respond to Climate Change
Learning to Adapt 5 (L2A5) is an EIANZ initiative designed to update, train and facilitate learning in climate change adaptation. Recognising that climate change adaptation is an evolving space with a variety of skills required L2A5 will build on the previous seminars from 2010-2012 and will provide high calibre speakers in the morning and skills development in the afternoon. L2A5 is the pilot for a national skills training program being developed by the EIANZ Climate Change Special Interest Section.
Hosted by Robin Williams, the day will include a networking breakfast and a keynote speaker to set the scene for the day. Following breakfast, there will be updates and case studies from across business, science and industry. The afternoon will feature training sessions on carbon management, climate change science, risk assessment and regulation and legislation. Robin Williams will close the day with a summary and next steps, and open networking drinks and canapés. More information available here.
