InvoCare: Materiality Assessment

Edge was commissioned by InvoCare, Australia’s leading funeral care provider to undertake a Materiality Assessment to assist in their understanding of their key environmental, social and governance issues. Following a desktop review to identify the industry ESG landscape, Edge engaged directly with members of the Board, Executive, Senior Management, employees and various external stakeholders to ascertain the impact and importance of key ESG issues to InvoCare’s business.

This process identified a huge opportunity for InvoCare’s operations as it looks to enhance its core focus areas of customer and family care, community engagement, employee focused programs and industry advocacy, while taking a leadership position in addressing the industry’s role in being part of the climate change solution.
