Delivering Food Waste Avoidance

Edge was commissioned by the City of Sydney to deliver food waste avoidance programs to the members of its Sustainable Destinations Partnership, focusing specifically on how food could be more efficiently and imaginatively used by the participating members. This program focused specifically on upskilling each of these businesses to reduce food waste, through more efficient ordering, better menu design, and communications with customers to request suitably sized meals.
