My entire career has focused on the environmental sector – initially I worked as a renewable resources researcher for a German research institute, before becoming a process engineer in wastewater treatment, and later developing models for environmental management in a software company. Since joining Edge Chile, I have supported carbon footprint calculation projects and researched to find solutions to a number of different problems.
It was the diversity of the work that led me to sustainability; that, and the positive change that we can create during the course of our work.
I really enjoy music (I can hardly ever be without it) and I like to spend my free time playing sports, reading and going for walks with my dogs.
I received my certification as a Civil Biochemical Engineer from Pontifical Catholic University of Valparaíso (PUCV), followed by a Masters in Environmental Engineering, Clean Development Mechanism and Energy Efficiency also from PUCV.
