I specialise in administrative law, public policy, and environmental regulation and legislation from my time as a legal advisor for both the public and private sector, and now working in the field of sustainable consumption and production.
I decided to transfer my knowledge into sustainability because I feel that I am able to make a real difference to sustainability. I am now working ahead of the current laws, helping create what will (hopefully) be minimum legal requirements in the future.
My favourite projects are those where we can work with different sectors, companies and people – such as when we developed a national roadmap for Chile to increase seafood consumption considering sustainability across the whole value-chain of products as main line of action. I liked this project’s systematic approach, where both the public and the private sector work together to co-develop a plan. The Chilean Ministry of Economy, the Ministry of Health, the Ministry of Education, some related trade associations, FAO and others, were some of the stakeholders involved.
I graduated as a lawyer from Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile, before studying a LLM in the same University in Regulatory Law. I´m also a qualified strategic coach from María Inés Pesqueira.
Nowadays I dedicate my free time to my baby twins Alonsa and Augusta. I love to see them play, take them for walks in their stroller – their smiles are everything for me.
