I take a stakeholder-centric approach to helping companies determine what sustainability means for their unique business. I’ve always had a passion for creative problem-solving and I am thrilled to bring my interdisciplinary skill set to Edge. With a foundation in consumer product design, a graduate education in sustainability and business, and continuous development of leadership and facilitation skills, I am ready to take on any client challenge!

My favorite projects are those that have a strong focus on stakeholder engagement, collaboration, and the translation of complex and ambiguous concepts into understandable and actionable results. I’ve had the pleasure of working on a variety of projects during my consulting career, including life cycle assessment, sustainable design research and strategy, materiality assessments and organizational culture change. Collaboration is a key foundation for how I work on project teams, whether I’m stepping into a project management, team lead, or research and analysis role. I enjoy finding opportunities to weave my design thinking skillset into my consulting work, whether through presentation design, workshop facilitation, gamification or playbook development.

I work in sustainability because I want to make a positive impact on the planet. My higher education began with a Bachelor’s of Design in Industrial Design from the University of Washington. After years of designing consumer products that would ultimately be destined for a landfill, I reached a turning point while on a tour of a manufacturing facility where I saw first-hand the waste my work was generating. I decided that I wanted to be part of the solution instead of the problem, which lead me to earn an MBA in Sustainable Systems from Presidio Graduate School. I believe the circular economy is the way of the future and I’m humbled to be a part of building it.

In my free time, I love working on creative projects, playing board games with friends and enjoying all the locally sourced cuisine the Seattle restaurant scene has to offer. I also enjoy getting outside in the Pacific Northwest whenever I can, whether it’s a walk through the neighborhood or a hike through our rainforests!
