Edge is excited to welcome Dr Henrique Togashi and Michelle Senerman Finkelstein to the team. Michelle and Henrique are strengthening our team in two key areas, sustainable products and climate change adaptation, bringing experience working with tools and technologies from Fundación Chile and Macquarie University’s PhD programme, respectively. They offer deep skills in maths, tool development, industry engagement, LCA and large project management, and amplify Edge Environment’s International expertise adding South American experience and flavour to our team. Welcome onboard!
Michelle worked with Edge in 2013 researching tools to support life cycle analysis based environmental decision making for consumers. In mid-2013 Michelle returned home to Chile to work with the private non-profit organisation Fundacion Chile, a ‘do tank’ that creates companies, develops new industries and products, and establishes networks to improve sustainability outcomes. Michelle now brings this experience back to Edge along with her passion for working at the junction between company sustainability and consumer decision making. She will use these skills to explore opportunities to connect life cycle analysis to consumer markets. Michelle completed her Masters in Sustainability at the University of Sydney.
Henrique, originally from Brazil, has a PhD in Biological Sciences from Macquarie University and specialises in Big Data Analysis, Geographic Information Systems and climate modelling. Henrique will be working across Edge’s existing services as well as exploring opportunities to add value to clients through customised data analysis tools and GIS.
