We are passionate about what we do and the positive impact it can have.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>This role<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Due to an increase in projects requiring life cycle assessment (LCA) skills, Edge Environment is expanding our LCA team. This is a unique opportunity to work among some of the foremost LCA practitioners in Australia. <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">The right candidate will have:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><em><b>Essentials<\/b><\/em><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Experience and expertise conducting LCAs independently<\/li>\n<li>Experience in SimaPro and interest in learning other tools, e.g., OpenLCA, GaBi<\/li>\n<li>Experience and interest in environmental product labelling, including Environmental Product Declarations<\/li>\n<li>Excellent report writing and Microsoft Excel skills<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><em><b>Desirables<\/b><\/em><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Experience and interest in building and infrastructure modelling<\/li>\n<li>Experience in life cycle costing and externality costing<\/li>\n<li>Experience in macro-economic modelling in the context of consequential LCA<\/li>\n<li>Skills in waste scenarios and end-of-life modelling for different materials (inert, organic, etc.)<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of regulatory policy that involves LCA and life cycle thinking, in Australia and internationally (e.g., European Union Product Environmental Footprint)<\/li>\n<li>Experience and interest in database management and tool development\/programming<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">You will also have:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A passion for sustainability<\/li>\n<li>Exceptional organisational skills and an ability to work independently<\/li>\n<li>Strong report writing and verbal communication skills<\/li>\n<li>Experience in Microsoft Office Suite and general IT proficiency<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">The right candidate will enjoy:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Continual learning and development at the forefront of sustainability<\/li>\n<li>Working in a small and agile team with a high level of independence<\/li>\n<li>Building networks and creating new business opportunities<\/li>\n<li>Working collaboratively within a team with a diverse set of skills and backgrounds<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">As part of our team you will benefit from:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ongoing investment in training and development<\/li>\n<li>A strong culture of work-life balance including established flexibility arrangements<\/li>\n<li>Working for a certified B Corp that lives its values<\/li>\n<li>Opportunities for career development and to influence the direction of the business<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Salary will be dependent on qualifications and experience.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>Application details<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Applications should be concise and relate directly to the skills\/experience outlined above.
