With so many organisations now looking to put sustainability at the heart of what they do, and a steady stream of impactful project opportunities coming through our door, we’re delighted to now make way for a Proposal Support Co-ordinator to join our team.

As a newly created position this is a great opportunity for a business development, sales or marketing practitioner to make their mark using their commercial acumen, client-focus and brilliant writing and editing skills to accelerate our positive impact.

You’ll be highly motivated and will get a buzz out of achieving a win. You’ll balance an ability to work under pressure with excellent verbal and written communication skills. Your desire to create compelling content and proposals is complimented by your exceptional attention to detail, and proven ability to support the bid and tender process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development of customer-centric and compelling proposals with the support of subject matter experts across all service lines
  • Create and implement processes and approaches to streamline the preparation of proposals in line with brand and marketing messaging
  • Support the establishment and maintenance of a content repository, and establish processes for capturing and refreshing content
  • Supporting our marketing efforts to drive awareness of Edge service offerings
  • Encouraging independent use of the repository across the business and providing training and support where needed
  • Rapid turnaround of ad-hoc content requests (directly from and to different areas of the business including from delivery teams, marketing, business development and subject matter experts)
  • Rapid turnaround of content improvement tasks when assigned content for specific proposals
  • Ability and willingness to reach out to specific content authors and contributors to clarify intended meanings and then to restructure content into highly readable, engaging and logically presented content

About You:

  • You’ll be degree qualified in business, marketing, communications, or journalism with a minimum of 3+ years’ experience
  • You’ll have a strong desire to use your skills for good and create positive impact
  • You’ll have a proven track record of working autonomously, with solid project management experience or aptitude with demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines under time pressure
  • Advanced Microsoft Word (use of templates etc) and strong PowerPoint skills
  • A passion for writing and creating content appropriate for different audiences
  • High level of competency in written English, including grammar, spelling and vocabulary
  • Ability to write succinctly and unambiguously in business language
  • Commercial acumen regarding accuracy of written details in order to minimise risk
  • Highly organised to ensure quality deliverables under time pressure
  • Willingness to be dedicated to what can be repetitive tasks that require deep concentration and often logical thinking with some writing and presentation creativity
  • Pride in own work and in keeping the repository up-to-date
